The City and Guilds 2850-10 Level 1 certificate in engineering comprises of 3 units.
Unit 101 Working in engineering
Unit 106 Electronic assembly
Unit 107 Electrical assembly
The units comprise of both theory and practical elements. Each unit has either a short answer question paper or a multiple choice online exam, as well as a practical assignments to display your skills.

You will need to provide suitable overalls and safety boots which must always be worn at all times in the workshops, a scientific calculator, basic drawing equipment (pencil, ruler, protractor, compass) and a note pad are required.
