What do I need to apply
To do this course you should have...
You will require a minimum of 4 GCSEs at grades A*-D (9-3) including English and maths. Alternatively successful completion of a relevant Level 1 qualification and have achieved a Level 1 Functional Skill in English and maths.
What about work experience?
Work experience is a fundamental part of the study program and the college will assist you in finding meaning full work experience

• Hand fitting (component production) employer desired skills

More about the course
You will need to provide suitable overalls and safety boots which must always be worn at all times in the workshops, you will need to bring pens and an A4 notebook to keep a record of your learning.
Students will be expected to complete an additional four hours minimum of self-study each week.
There is a £100 materials fee to be paid at enrolment.
