The Level 2 Certificate in Warehousing and Storage has been developed in collaboration with the Sector Skills Body in response to emerging industry trends and the skills and knowledge requirements of employers. By achieving this nationally recognised qualification you will gain a valuable understanding of warehousing and logistics. The qualification has been designed to support those involved with distributive operations, such as dealing with inbound and outbound deliveries, assembling order through to dispatching goods, keeping stock at required levels, operating equipment to perform work requirements.

The qualification provides opportunities for progression to other qualifications at higher levels, which could also be work-based or more academically structured. The qualification also supports learners in applying for senior roles in a logistics and warehouse setting, such as warehouse team leader, senior supervisor or warehouse manager.

Prior to joining this course you will be invited to attend an individual interview with a member of the Commercial Delivery team to discuss your suitability for the course based on your work background and current situation. No formal qualifications may be necessary as the main criteria or suitability is based on current and previous work experiences.
