This 3 day fashion summer school gives students the opportunity to explore fashion design at a college setting. Students will experiment with a number of ways to design a their very own fashion collection, including, freehand drawing and using templates, collage, working with colour and pattern, draping on the stand, and paper modelling on wooden mannequins. Students will develop their own fully illustrated fashion collection and leave with skills and resources that they can continue to develop towards a creative portfolio. This course is for anyone that is interested in fashion and textiles and would like to explore their interest further.

To do this course you should have... 

The course is for 14-18 year olds wishing to explore fashion and textiles. No previous experience is required.

All additional course materials will be provided by the course provider. You will use and learn with tools and materials.
