Meet the Team

Marion is the college's Careers Leader. She manages the Careers Advice and Guidance team and makes sure that all students receive high quality impartial Careers Advice and Guidance. This involves working with Student Services, tutors, curriculum staff and The BASE to make sure that Careers Guidance is embedded across the college.

Laura started as a Careers Adviser at Bournemouth & Poole College in 2017. She qualified as a Careers Adviser in 2011 and she continued to progress her career by achieving a Masters in Careers Guidance in 2013. Since qualifying, Laura has worked with young people in Kent and Dorset, and is able to support students with all aspects of careers advice and guidance, but her specialist curriculum areas which she looks after are, Applied Science and Care, Creative Industries, Service Industries, Sixth Form and Access.

Jo has been a Careers Adviser at the College since 2015. She is qualified in Careers Advice and Guidance to Level 7 with almost 19 years' experience working for careers companies, schools and drop in centres. Jo supports all students to explore what careers they would like to pursue as well as progression routes and further career planning. Jo also provides specialist support to students in Applied Science and Care and Creative Industries curriculum areas.
