Marion Patterson – Careers Advice and Guidance Manager (Careers Leader)
Marion Patterson, Careers Leader at Bournemouth & Poole CollegeMarion is the college's Careers Leader. She manages the Careers Advice and Guidance team and makes sure that all students receive high quality impartial Careers Advice and Guidance. This involves working with Student Services, tutors, curriculum staff and The BASE to make sure that Careers Guidance is embedded across the college.

Sarah Dymott – Careers Advice and Guidance Adviser
Sarah Dymott, Careers Advisor at Bournemouth & Poole CollegeSarah has worked as a Lead Careers Adviser at Bournemouth & Poole College since 2015. Qualified with a Level 7 Postgraduate Qualification in Careers Guidance, Sarah has experience of working with young people, HE students and graduates, adults and those exploring career changes.
Sarah provide Careers Advice and Guidance to all students and her specialist Curriculum areas are Sixth Form and Access (including A Levels, Sport, Public Services, ESOL), Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing and Business, Digital and Leadership.  Sarah also leads on information provision (including web based and social media) and project manages the Colleges annual Women in STEM CPD event for Careers Advisers, Teachers and Educational professionals.
Laura Collins – Careers Advice and Guidance Adviser
Laura Collins Careers Advisor at Bournemouth & Poole CollegeLaura started as a Careers Adviser at Bournemouth & Poole College in 2017. She qualified as a Careers Adviser in 2011 and she continued to progress her career by achieving a Masters in Careers Guidance in 2013. Since qualifying, Laura has worked with young people in Kent and Dorset, and is able to support students with all aspects of careers advice and guidance, but her specialist curriculum areas which she looks after are, Applied Science and Care, Creative Industries, Service Industries, Sixth Form and Access.
Jo Bowman - Careers Advice and Guidance Adviser
Jo Bowman, Careers Advisor at Bournemouth & Poole CollegeJo has been a Careers Adviser at the College since 2015. She is qualified in Careers Advice and Guidance to Level 7 with almost 19 years' experience working for careers companies, schools and drop in centres. Jo supports all students to explore what careers they would like to pursue as well as progression routes and further career planning. Jo also provides specialist support to students in Applied Science and Care and Creative Industries curriculum areas.
Selina Renn - Careers Advice and Guidance Adviser
Selina Renn Careers Advisor at Bournemouth & Poole CollegeSelina has been working for the College for seven years. She is qualified at Level 3 and is soon to complete her Level 6 qualification in Careers Guidance which will help her to achieve her dream career of becoming a fully qualified Careers Adviser. Selina advises all students, but her specialist curriculum areas which she looks after are Construction and Foundation Learning.
