About the College Job Shop

The College Job Shop has been established to support the transition of our students into the world of work. We currently have over 25,000 full and part time students. Many of our full time students welcome the opportunity to undertake part time employment.

We do not want to encourage our students to leave a course permanently. For this reason we are happy to take part time vacancies from September to March. From March onwards, or earlier as long as the start date for the job is after the end of the academic year, we welcome full time vacancies and opportunities for apprenticeship training.

Please note that any part time vacancy should not be more than 12 hours a week. Research shows that any more than 12 hours of work can effect the student's educational achievement.

There is no charge to place a vacancy with The College Job Shop.
