Autumn Term

Freshers Fayre

Lots 'n lots of local companies come along and give out loads & loads of freebees from free beer vouchers, free VIP cards for nightclubs, cheap membership to gyms and lots lots more.

Boat Party

Freshers is followed by a raucous Cruise through Poole Harbour with lots of fun games and a chance to make new friends… Oooh Arrrr Captain! Don’t miss the boat!!! Tickets only £3 available at Student Union offices from start of term.

Paintball

Fancy yourself as the next Arnie Schwarzenegger? Then join us in the Blandford Countryside shooting paint balls at each other.

THE Christmas Ball

We organise one of the biggest and best balls in the country for an FE college. 1000’s of students, inflatable fun, dodgems, top dj’s, massive effects, one night. Tickets sell out in hours – don’t be disappointed.

Spring Term (RAG)

RAG (Raising and Giving) is when students prove to the local community they do more than drink, sleep and eat kebabs. Raising And Giving is all about raising money for local and national charities and putting something back into the community. Spring Term will have a number of activities taking place so why not see what you want to do – and if its not here then contact us and tell us what you would like to do!

Street Collection

Raising And Giving usually kicks off with 2 street collections. Lots of students come down to Bournemouth and Poole Town Centres in fancy dress to help the public rid their pockets of all spare change. Having a number of nurses both male and female, handcuffed to various lamp posts around town helps to convince most to dig deeper.

Other Stuff

We’ve done lots of other events during RAG in the past including pub crawls (over 18’s) where all the participants are handcuffed together, sponsored head shaves, inter-school 6-a-side football, Classroom Raids, Kidnap Your Tutor… Well we will!

Summer Term

Bournemouth's buzzin' during the summer months and we've got some plans to make sure your summer kicks off a to good start - from rafting to resting, whatever you're into it's there waiting for you to join in…

Beach Parties

Volley Ball, BBQ's, music 'n dance… That's what the beach is there for, so join us for some inflatable fun.

Alton Towers

A fun packed day with lots of rollercoasters will get you screaming… A well deserved break from the stress of coursework and/or revision. This trip is subsidised and will be at an affordable price - a Student Union BARGAIN!

White Water Rafting

The Students Union will be arranging a White Water Rafting trip to, not quite the Amazon BUT fun all the same.

Inflatable Fun

The Students Union are looking at putting on a fun inflatable day - a bit like Its-a-Knockout but better. This could include a Human Table Football competition.
