The Students' Union Teams

Senior Executive Team

President

Otherwise known as 'The Boss' - is the prime representative of the Students Union and its his/her job to oversee the running of the SU Executive.

Vice President - Union Development

Has responsibility for running the Union Development Team with specific duties to develop the services and provision by the SU.

Vice President - Communications

Has responsibility for running the Union Communications Team dealing with all internal and external communications of the SU.

Vice President - Entertainments

Has responsibility for running the Ents. Team and arranging a variety of trips, parties, club nights and of course The Christmas Ball.

Vice President - Welfare

Has responsibility for running the Welfare Team liaising with the College Counselling team and various relevant outside agencies.

Union Development Team

Clubs & Societies Officer

In charge of overseeing the running of existing Clubs & Societies as well as assisting students wishing to start up new ones.

Finance Officer

Monitors all financial transactions, income and expenditure of the Union.

Site Representatives

Every site at College has a representative on the Union. It's their job to look after the office, common rooms and notice boards at their site.

Communications

Publicity & Media Officer

Liaises with College Marketing Department and various outside agencies including the local and national press.

Entertainments Team

Entertainments Officer

Assists the Vice President for Entertainments in providing students with a relevant and varied programme of parties, trips and events.

RAG (Raise And Give) & Charities Officer

Arranges a variety of events raising funds for different charities including the main SU charity event of the year - RAG WEEK - Seven days of madness and mayhem.

Welfare Team

Equality Officer

Has the job of dealing with any individual or general student equality issues at College and providing a health awareness programme.

Minorities Representative

The SU recognises the need for creating awareness and representing the needs of all minority groups existing within The College. Officers who have been in place previously have included the LGB Officer and Women's Rep.
