Welcome to the Students Union section of The College website. This is designed to inform you all about the Students Union - and more.
How it's run - who runs it, what it can do for you and how you can get involved. The fun side of the SU... and the serious side to!!
Mature students are welcome to join The Bournemouth & Poole College Students Union (our oldest member to date was 82 years of age).
The SU:
- Provides recreational facilities
- Campaigns on students' rights and issues
- Has clubs, social and charity events and trips
- Offers a SU discount scheme
- Provides welfare advice
Anyone 16 and over can join the Students Union. To obtain your card take your enrolment form and a passport photo to 'The Link' in North Road, or go to the SU in Lansdowne. The NUS Extra card costs £10. This gives you massive amounts of savings in loads of shops. A percentage of the money paid by you goes towards your Student's Union.
