The Student Support Fund is designed to help students successfully complete their course of study by providing financial assistance.
The fund can help with course related costs such as educational visits, materials and equipment.
If your gross household income is less than £30,810 then there could be some financial support available for you.
Please contact 01202 205488 for further information or pop into The Link at the Lansdowne, Bournemouth or North Road, Poole.
Please note that financial criteria can change each year so do not assume that you will be entitled to the same support each year.
The Student Support Team has the right to suspend funding should attendance and progression fall below expected college levels.
If you are under 20, at the start of September 2010, and require help with your childcare costs while you are studying at college you need to get into contact with Care to Learn. They can provide free childcare while you study.
For more information contact 01202 205488 or go online at www.direct.gov.uk/caretolearn .
