Information for School Leavers

Support Fund (19 Years+)*

The Student Support Fund is designed to help students successfully complete their course of study by providing financial assistance.

The fund can help with course related costs such as educational visits, materials, equipment and childcare.

Please note that the student support fund can no longer help with tuition fee support.

2008/2009

If your gross household income is less than £30,810 then there could be some financial support available for you.

Please note that financial criteria can change each year so do not assume that you will be entitled to the same support each year.

The Student Support Team has the right to suspend funding should attendance and progression fall below expected college levels.

Childcare Costs

Students who are over 20 at the start of September 2008, can apply direct to the Student Support Fund for help with the cost of childcare. Please ensure that the separate childcare funding application form is completed if you do require help. All childcare providers must be Ofsted registered.
