The first annual Equality and Diversity report to the Board of the Corporation was produced in July 2006 and includes the results of our monitoring of student achievement rates by ethnic group, disability and learning difficulty.

In order to support The College in meeting it's equality and diversity aims for 2006/07, The College Equality Forum works towards the delivery of the attached action plan. The progress is updated every term, and the updated version of the plan is posted on the website shortly after the Equality Forum meeting.

Staff monitoring information

The following are twice yearly monitoring reports relating to the application, shortlisting and appointment of staff to the College, as well as information relating to leavers and internal transfers. Within the local area, black and minority ethnic groups comprise 4.39% of the population (2001 census).
