We fully support the spirit behind the Disability Discrimination Act 2005, and see the Disability Equality Duty as supporting the College in tackling disability discrimination in a practical way by introducing a scheme which actively promotes opportunities and prevents discrimination taking place.
The College approach to disability equality reflects the social model of disability and focuses on the removal of social, cultural and physical barriers to equality.
