We welcome your involvement in the College Equality and Diversity programme. There are a number of ways in which you can become involved;
Your views are important to us. By completing our equality and diversity questionnaire, you will be giving us valuable feedback on ways in which we can improve our service to you.
As part of our commitment to Equality and Diversity we are reviewing and impact assessing our policies and procedures in line with the requirements of the Race Relations (Amendment) Act 2000, the Disability Discrimination Act 2005, and the Equality Act 2006. We welcome these legislative changes as equality impact assessments help us to identify hidden barriers and inequalities, and where these are identified, we will take appropriate action.
We are keen to involve people in the impact assessment process. In order to ensure that our consultation is representative, we would particularly welcome input from those with a disability or from minority ethnic backgrounds.
