Enrichment / College Life

"There is a very good range of enrichment activities for students. Many of these are subsidised by The College. OFSTED 2003

There are plenty of opportunities to persue your interests at The CollegeAs a student at The College you will have plenty of opportunities to persue your interests, extend your studies and try out new experiences. We call this 'enrichment'. This will include various activities undertaken in your tutor groups, through the Students' Union or Student and Customer Services.

The College is committed to making your time with us as full and interesting as possible and through the six elements of enrichment we hope you will discover some things about yourself that you never knew existed!

The six elements are:

  • College Events - these will follow themes such as Health & Fitness, Science & Technology, Diversity etc.
  • Cross-Programme Activities - experience a different course for the day.
  • Tutorial Activities - for example, Study Skills, Life Skills and Career Progression.
  • Visiting Speakers.
  • Visits and Trips.
  • Other Activities - include Students' Union events and Team Building Activities.
