Our Bureau team will be happy to simply provide you with just our modelling service, however, in addition to this, our skilled technicians are able to offer further support and specialist services. Many clients are reaping the benefits of using the additional resource of our Design Utility. Ideal for the customer who knows what they want but would prefer one of our skilled CAD operators to work with them in order to enhance designs and bring models to life! Introducing the new Modelling service from The Bournemouth & Poole College

Welcome to the new Prototype Bureau based within the Centre for Technology at The Bournemouth & Poole College North Road campus in Poole, Dorset.

Our mission is to ensure that through commercial enterprise, our students have access to 3D modelling, enhancing their projects and presentations with three-dimensional visualisation.

We are therefore delighted to be able to introduce to industry a unique opportunity to access our Prototype Bureau services where we are committed to producing top quality models to match your individual needs/specifications.

Working in partnership with Business & Industry

The Bournemouth and Poole College is proud of its links with the engineering industry, working collaboratively with a number of local, regional, national and international companies.

However, we are able to provide bespoke services to an extensive range of organisations, with multiple benefits and usage for business and industry other than engineering.

Our models can be used in a multitude of disciplines including:

Archaeology
The ability to demonstrate scale models of ancient artefacts.

Architecture
Scale models of individual floor plans or building designs.

Ergonomics
Allowing comfortable human-product interaction without the need for Anthropometric study.

Forensics
Producing a full size model from a computer-generated photo fit reduces the need for time consuming and expensive clay models.

Medical
Having the ability to print from CT scans enables us to deliver a perfect replica of damaged bone structure.

Oceanographic & Geographic
Accurate models depict 3D topography.

Bringing computer generated molecular structures to life.
