Bournemouth & Poole College has been chosen to receive investment from the government’s £1.5 billion FE Capital Transformation Fund.
The College's Lansdowne and North Road sites have been identified as one of 16 other colleges across the country to receive government funding. The grant will be used to transform the College’s facilities into modern, fit-for-purpose spaces that meet the needs of students and the local community.

Bournemouth & Poole College students have enjoyed a confident return to on-site study, with over 3,400 rapid COVID tests already carried out since 8th March.
All students have been invited to attend the testing facilities as part of The College’s commitment to ensuring a smooth and safe transition back to study on campus.
While COVID testing is not mandatory by law for students, The College has seen an impressive uptake by students, with the vast majority keen to benefit from the efficient on-site testing facilities at North Road, Lansdowne and The Fulcrum.

Josh Ross, a fourth year Marine Apprentice at Bournemouth & Poole College, has won the British Marine Electrical & Electronics Association’s (BMEEA) award for Electronic Technician of the Year.
