A Bournemouth and Poole College course aimed at teaching business awareness and management skills has been a towering success for three mature students.

Natasha Bedford, of Charminster, Joanne Kehoe, of Poole and Abigail Bartlett of Ferndown, have just received their certificates for success on the college’s ILM team leading Level 2 course from course manager Marion Atherton.

All three climbed a steep learning curve on the bespoke course based in the offices of finance company Tower Capital in Bournemouth and received glowing reports from company director Phil Valler. The women have all gone through four months of bespoke training at the company under the watchful eye of Marion  who popped along to Tower Capital’s office near Lansdowne to congratulate the three.

Joanne said: “This has been a great learning experience for me. I managed to hone the skills I've been taught and move into a specialist area. I can easily recommend the course for anyone looking to build their confidence in the business environment.”

Phil Valler said: “The way this course operates with company directors involved on a day-to-day basis with the training has prove invaluable. The company intends to continue its liaison with Bournemouth and Poole College.

Natasha, Joanne and Abigail are now keen to progress to the Level 3 of the course with the college and Marion’s backing.
