Students on the BTEC National Diploma in Hospitality Supervision organised the glamorous event, held in the colleges Escoffier Restaurant. College staff, students and their families were treated to a fantastic 3 course meal to celebrate the graduation of the year 2 students.

The Ritzopoly team was led by student Hugo Haub (banqueting head waiter) who was also the toastmaster for the evening. Year 1 students created the theme and co-ordinated the event. Every aspect of the event reflected the theme, including the menus and table decorations. Student Chloe Watkins dressed up in a jailbird costume and served the cocktail she created called ‘$200’.

The kitchen team was led by Freddie Smith for the amazing canapes, starter and main course.  The spectacular sweet course was designed by Antonia Barrett with support from Debbie Sherman. To reflect the theme it was a trio of deserts that included a Chocolate top hat, a cake decorated as a dice and a ‘Go’ emblem made from sugar.

The local sponsors for the event were Moss Bros, The Connaught Hotel and The Liquor Store.
