Introduction:
This course provides students with the skills and knowledge to enter the world of computer networking. It is run as a full-time course (3 days attendance a week) or 3 years part-time (1 day attendance a week).
Routers are the central component corporate-wide internetworks. In order to successfully deploy routers and switches, internet working professionals require a thorough understanding of their features and functions. This degree course not only provides you with a comprehensive knowledge of internetworking devices with hands-on experience of the Cisco range of networking devices, you will also gain CISCO industry standard certification alongside a Foundation Degree, enabling you to move directly into industry or to an Honours level course.
Entry Requirements:
- Four GCSEs at grade A to C to include English and Maths, or an equivalent qualification
- At least one A level at grade C or above,
- BTEC National Diploma, NVQ3 or equivalent, or
- An Access to Higher Education Diploma
(80 Tariff points from one 6 unit award) Preferred subjects: all subjects considered.
