Introduction:

The Business and Management course is an ideal choice if you are looking for a degree that covers a breadth of business subjects such as Marketing, Human Resource Management, Finance and Management.

This course programme is designed to build up your confidence, competency and skills levels. Level C provides underpinning knowledge in business subjects and an emphasis on relating your studies to the world of work. The first term includes a number of activities including the induction week and team building workshops that support your personal development and study skills. Level C also includes a 6 week work placement as part of the work based learning unit.

By the end of Level C you will have a detailed knowledge of marketing principles and approaches, organisational behaviour, and human resource management practices.

Level I builds on Level C and introduces students to self-directed research work and prepares students for progression to the BA (Hons) Business Management Programme (top-up).

Entry Requirements:

• 4 GCSEs at grade C minimum to include Maths and English or appropriate Key Skills level 2
• At least ONE A-level or equivalent at grade C or above
• Level 3 Advanced Diploma is considered with other qualfications
• An Access to Higher Education Diploma
