Placement Search
- Are you looking for work experience to gain relevant practical work skills, either as part of your course or during the vacation?
- Are you planning to take a one-year Industrial Placement before completing your degree?
Any relevant employment experience is highly regarded by employers.
Top Tips
- Be prepared with a positive relevant CV and covering letter. For advice go to the section on Job Applications. If you are applying to major organisations and graduate recruiters, you must expect to encounter graduate/student placement application forms and possibly graduate aptitude testing;
- Be proactive. Many opportunities are either never advertised or perhaps not where you are checking. You should consider contacting employers on the possibility that a vacancy may occur in the near future, or that a post is created for you because you present yourself so successfully.
