ABOUT US
The Bournemouth & Poole College works with partner universities to offer a wide range of full and part- time Higher Education level qualifications, including the popular vocationally based Foundation degrees. Full time students normally do a work placement as part of their Foundation degree.
Students on the full time courses come from all over the country, from Europe and from further abroad. The courses are also highly beneficial to students, who may prefer to study closer to home, saving on accommodation and other student loans, or for mature students, who may have missed their opportunity for university when younger and are now seeking to upgrade or diversify their qualifications.
Our portfolio of courses now also means that you can progress right through further to higher education/degree level with The Bournemouth & Poole College, giving you the added security and benefits of studying with us.
As with all learning at The College, our students are well supported, and our Higher Education team will be happy to give you advice and guidance about college HE provision, including Access to HE and UCAS applications.
In a reciprocal arrangement, all students studying on HE courses at The College will also be entitled to use many of the facilities and resources offered by the partner university.
