The College Foundation

The College Foundation was set up in 1994 and was the first registered charity established in the U.K. to enhance the education of students attending a further education college. Since then we have raised over £1,000,000 for the benefit of our students.

What the Foundation Does

The College Foundation helps students in many ways

  • Financial support through awards and bursaries for students studying at The College.
  • Specialist equipment to help you on your course (especially to Support learners with any disability).
  • Help with travel and accommodation costs when entering competitions across the country.
  • Occasional emergency support for individual students in need.
  • Funding for special projects:
    • The ROK Garden at Holton Lee for students with learning and physical disabilities
    • 3-day residential sailing course on the Isle of Wight for students with learning and physical disabilities
    • Equipment for Youth Club for students with learning and physical disabilities
