The College Foundation was set up in 1994 and was the first registered charity established in the U.K.
to enhance the education of students attending a further education college. Since then we have raised over
£1,000,000 for the benefit of our students.

Who We Are
The Bournemouth and Poole College Foundation is the charitable arm of The Bournemouth and Poole College and was established in 1994 to provide additional resources not available through statutory funding to support students studying at The Bournemouth and Poole College. The College Foundation was one of the first charities to be set up in the U.K. to work alongside a further education college.
Objectives
- to advance the education of students attending The Bournemouth and Poole College of Further Education by providing or assisting in the provision of equipment and facilities including but not restricted to gifts, grants, loans, scholarships, bursaries and prizes not usually provided for by the statutory authorities; and
- to support such charitable purposes as are connected with The College as the directors of the Charity shall from time to time in their absolute discretion determine.
