The College Foundation was set up in 1994 and was the first registered charity established in the U.K. to enhance the education of students attending a further education college. Since then we have raised over £1,000,000 for the benefit of our students.
The College Foundation Charity Golf Tournament 2008 Thursday 17 July 2008
Parkland Course, Canford Magna Golf Course
Last year our Charity Golf Tournament raised £6,700 to provide additional resources for our disabled students at The College and some much needed funds for the Lansdowne Clock Tower Appeal. We could not have done this without generous support from local business and individuals.
This year our Charity Golf Tournament will take place on the Parkland Course at Canford Magna Golf Club on Thursday 17 July 2008. Poster.
We are extremely grateful for the unstinting support of Harry Redknapp and to Ace Office Supplies who have generously agreed to be the main sponsor for the tournament this year. Last year we had 28 teams playing on the day including many local businesses and generous individuals and this year we want to do even better. This year we will be raising funds for disabled students and those students who are studying for a qualification at The College against a background of adversity and who sometimes need a helping hand from The College Foundation by the provision of books, equipment, bursaries etc.
There will be the opportunity to win some excellent prizes while supporting the work of The College Foundation and at the same time it is also an opportunity to entertain valued clients with an enjoyable day’s golf.
A team of four players remains the same as last year at just £275. To register a team please download Entry form, complete and return to me with your cheque made payable to The College Foundation.
Team details form to be completed and returned to me by Friday 27 June 2008.
