Helping you find a job
A progressive college
At The College our aim is to give ALL of our students the competitive 'edge' they need to get a job at the end of their course, or to help support them while they're studying.
The College has excellent relationships with many local, regional, national and international employers. In today’s tough job market, it is really important that you are not just gaining relevant qualifications, but that you are also developing skills, attitudes and attributes that employers are looking for. By working closely with employers we can ensure that our qualifications and training are up-to-date, relevant and of a high standard, giving you great potential to reach your career aspirations.
Working with REED in partnership with NCFE The College has developed e labs (employability labs) on both of the main campus sites (Lansdowne, Bournemouth and North Road, Poole). The aim of e labs, and the dedicated and experienced recruitment specialists from REED NCFE, is to work with The College to enhance student employability and provide a high street recruitment service to employers specifically for students. Students are provided with on the spot assistance with CV building, cover letters, interview techniques and job search skills. In addition they can assist students finding work experience placements, apprenticeship opportunities, part time work alongside college studies and full time jobs on completion of programmes.
