What is the Retail Skill Shop?

The Skillshop provides a service to the retail industry helping to raise its profile, attract passionate new staff and develop first class skills for today's fast moving retail environment.

Through a one-stop-virtual-shop it brings together many of the elements needed for a successful retail sector - employers, potential employees, education, training providers and business support partners throughout Dorset.

What we do

The Retail Skillshop Dorset provides a free support service to retailers across Dorset and is a one stop shop where you can access a variety of high quality training programmes to support your business and to develop you and your team.

The Retail Skillshop Dorset is managed by The Bournemouth and Poole College and works in partnership with organisations such as Chambers of Commerce, Business Link, Federation of Small Businesses (FSB), Job Centre Plus, Town Centre Managers and Economic Development teams across Dorset.
