Wimborne based brand communications experts RT Media Ltd. is celebrating a decade of successful business growth. The company, which specialises in company branding and marketing communications, has a mission to ‘nurture brands, grow business’.

The nurturing concept has also applied to their own staff team at RT Media who have benefited from opportunities for continued professional development and training provided by The Bournemouth and Poole College.

Through The College’s corporate training division, Business Enterprise, several members of the RT Media team have been taking the fast track, part time 13-week
Chartered Management Institute (CMI) Certificate in First Line Management qualification and have already seen the benefits.

Senior Designer Jamie Homer recommends the course saying, “I use a lot of what I learned on the course on an almost daily basis. My job role has changed and this useful, well paced course with a recognised qualification has helped my personal career development.”

Colleague Natalie Alexander, Senior Account Handler added, “It was interesting to discuss different business practices and see other professionals’ points of view. Of particular use to me were the introduction of new business practices and updated procedures. I have developed awareness of management styles and their effectiveness.”

The CMI Certificate in First Line Management course is offered as a part time programme with attendance at The College’s North Road campus in Poole, or can be delivered as an in-house course to businesses with several delegates undertaking the training.
