The Entry to Employment programme is aimed at people between 16 – 18 years of age and helps prepare young people for the workplace by gaining extra qualifications and building their confidence and skills.
This course is designed to improve their employability skills to assist in finding a job after finishing the programme.
EMA has been extended to those young people on an LSC-funded E2E course or taking a learning programme that leads to an Apprenticeship (EMA is a weekly payment of £10, £20 or £30 a week depending on your household income).
Plus there may be help available with childcare costs and travel.
For more information on the E2E programme and how you as an employer can get involved please contact Cherry Fisher in The College’s E2E department on 01202 205376 or your local Connexions office.
