eLibrary LRC Borrowing Information

All students are entitled to borrow up to 10 items and you need to bring your ID Card with you whenever you want to borrow items or renew them.

Loan periods

There are several categories of loan periods and these are shown below:

Two week loan
One week loan (Green tape on spine)
Overnight loan (Red tape on spine)
Reference only (Blue tape on spine)

Renewals

Items can be renewed by telephone or in person, provided that they are not required by someone else. Two renewals are allowed on two week loan items. Renewals can be made in person or by telephone at any LRC.

Fines

Fines are charged if items are returned after the date stamp on the date label. The following rates apply:

Two week and one week loans20p per day
Overnight loans50p per day
