The DCCC was established in 1991 within a national network of about 120 curriculum centres as part of an initiative by the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB). Today, the DCCC works with the support of various organisations operating in Dorset.
The main driver is the DCCC Steering Group with representatives from the construction industry, further education, professional bodies and local government.
We are always looking for additional help. You can either join our Steering Group or support the delivery of an activity.

We are always looking for additional input. You can get involved at a strategic level and join our Steering Group and/or at an operational level and support specific events.
Examples of how you can support an event: deliver an activity such as a site visit, offer shadow day to teachers, present health & safety or career progression talks, attend at career fairs with a stand, conduct mock interviews, be a judge at a competition, sponsor a prize, sponsor refreshments for an avent, provide a venue for a meeting or a teacher training day, and more...
