Design You Own...Visitor Centre / Olympic Stadium / Bridge ...

Working in teams of 5 to 6, students design and build a model of their own design. They decide on architectural design, choose indoor and outdoor facilities, consider environmental issues, and cost out their development. The model is constructed as a tubular space–frame and must be large enough to house the whole team. At the end of the day, every team member participates in a bid presentation. Judges from industry observe the teams throughout the day and the best teams receive a prize.
