Visits to Corfe Castle with Pam White of The National Trust
Combine history with construction at a spectacular site! Pam has a vast knowledge and offers excellent tours of the castle talking about the historic building methods used at the castle and dwellings surrounding it in conjunction with local history.  Teachers are welcome to extend the visits to add their own activities, for example practical applications of Maths!

CPD - 'Eye for Design' with John Allen of INPUT
Extremely popular and successful for teaching staff of Key Stages 2 & 3.  John Allen provides brilliant ideas how to teach structures and forces with an hands-on approach based on a simple method used by architects and designers.

CPD - 'Maths in Industry' with Barry Milburn and Gina Davenport of George & Harding
The National Curriculum subject in the working world.  Industry Professionals provide some answers to the infamous question "why do we have to learn this?".  Barry and Gina introduced fantatic resources of practical applications of Maths in the construction industry.

Visits to Poundbury with Steve Walker of C.G.Fry & Son
An outstanding site visit with an extremely dedicated site manager on a unique construction develeopment project!  Steve introduces the Poundbury project and C.G. Fry & Son, tours the site with us showing various stages of the construction process and the different jobs involved. He talks about career paths into the industry and requirements in a recruit.
