To grab their interest in the construction industry at a young age, we offer the following activities for pupils in Key Stages 1, 2 and 3:

Touch It - workshop on materials in buildings with The College
1½ hours session for up to 30 pupils in KS 2&3, includes health & safety talk at building sites, properties of materials and a feel of real materials used in buildings.

The Real World - site visits with local construction employers
Do you have a construction site nearby and would like a site visit for your pupils or colleagues? We can organise it! Includes health & safety talk, supporting teaching resources, hard hats, high visibility jackets.

Support to Schools - your own projects
Construction Ambassadors (professionals from Industry), have supported Industry & Enterprise Days for Year 6 to 8 in the past, for example ‘Design the School of Your Future’, ‘Design a Holiday Village’, ‘Design an Athletes Village for the World Cup’.
