Photography - Level 2

This course has been designed for those who would like to study a variety of general photography topics. You will be given assignments with tuition from an experienced team of practicing, professional photographers teaching part-time at The College
The course will cover a wide selection of general photography topics. You will also learn more about a variety of photographic imaging techniques and processes, such as:
- composition and visual elements
- camera and material selection and uses
- preparing and presenting your own photographs for exhibitions
You should have attained City & Guilds Level 1 Photography (also available at The College), or have relevant experience. Entry is subject to an interview with the course tutor.

Your work, folios of pictures and workbooks will be assessed by the tutor and the internal verifier at the end of each term/unit and by the external verifier for City & Guilds at the end of each year as you progress, through the course.
Upon successful completion of this course you can progress onto Licentiate to RPS (1 year part-time) - where you will study and produce a more professional standard of Photography.

There may be a charge for materials used according to individual needs.
The fee for the course is £490.00 and must be paid in full at the time of enrolment. Unfortunately this course cannot be paid in installments.
Please note that fees are not normally returnable but may be considered only under exceptional circumstances.
A further fee of £50 registers the student with City and Guilds and upon succesful completion of the course the student will gain a City and Guilds certificate.
If the student chooses not to register with City and Guilds they will receive a College certificate upon successful completion of the course.
