Level 3 Diploma in Engineering (Electronics & Electrical Engineering) Part Time
Monday 9am-8pm
The course is aimed at employers and students starting out in the field of electrical / electronic engineering. The units studied have been chosen to meet three key areas.
1- Analogues & Digital Electronics
2- Electrical Technologies
3- Control Sytems Principles (PLC's)
On completion students are equipped to continue their studies via HNC / FdSc course
.
This course is made up of 12 units specialist units enable you to study particular areas in depth and there is opportunity to follow a clear career pathway in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

- Introduction to PLC's
- Basic Mechanical Principles
You should have 4 GCSE's Grade C or above (including Maths) or relevant experience.
You should have 4 GCSE's Grade C or above (or equivalent qualifications) or recognised experience.
Assessment is progressive and is based on proving competence in a range of practical and theoretical tasks.
On successful completion of this course, you can progress onto BTEC Higher National Certificate.
£5900 per year to include books, examination fees and registration fees. There may be additional costs for educational visits, uniforms, materials etc. and this cost will be advised on application.
