You should have successfully completed the IMI Level 1 Diploma in Motor Vehicle (Maintenance and Repair).

What about work experience?

You will be assessed through a mixture of multiple choice tests and practical assessments.

International entry requirements

If English is not your first language, a minimum IELTS (Academic) of 5.0, Cambridge FCE, TOEFL 500 (paper based), 61(internet based), 173 (computer based) or TOEIC 570 is required. Completion of High School studies is required.

Subjects studied include:

• Chassis technology
• Electrical and electronic technology
• Engine technology
• Health and Safety
• Transmission technology

You will also study Functional Skills at the appropriate level and will learn through a combination of practical activities and theory lessons.
