Introduction: 

To undertake any NVQ on a part time basis you MUST be working in the relevant vocational sector, for example to undertake this NVQ you must have knowledge of and be working within a customer service related. You must also be able to access evidence from your current employer and they need to be happy that assessments and observations will be carried out at your place of work, so it is preferable to have your employer's support.

To achieve this NVQ you will need to show competence in the following areas:

  • Communicate using customer service language
  • Follow the rules to deliver customer service
  • Organise the delivery of reliable customer service
  • Improve the customer relationship
  • Monitor and solve customer problems
  • Develop customer relationships
Entry Requirements: 

Prior to joining this course you will be invited to attend an individual interview with a member of the workforce development team to discuss your suitability for the course based on your work background and current situation. No formal qualifications may be necessary as the main criteria of suitability is based on current and previous work experiences.

International Entry Requirements: 

You will be invited to attend an individual interview with a member of the NVQ Services team to discuss the suitability of the course and the individual applicants background and current situation. Formal qualifications are not necessarily required, as the main criteria or suitability of the individual is based on current and previous work experiences.

Assessment: 

Work based observation.

Progression: 

Following the successful completion of this course, we recommend you progress onto Customer Service Diploma Level 3. Some diplomas at Level 3 will allow progression into Higher Education (subject to the entry criteria of the university applied to).

Alternatively, this qualification could help you to seek employment in a wide variety of customer service positions.

Costs: 

The full cost price of this course is £1200 which includes registration and certification costs of £140.00

Price on application. There may be tuition fee concession for eligible applicants but a cost of £140.00 will still be applicalbe to cover registration and certification costs.
