CMI Certificate in First Line Management - Level 3

You will study the following topics:
Management roles
Communications
Performance reviews
Handling discipline and grievance
No formal qualifications are necessary for you to join this programme although you will be invited for an informal interview.
The qualification is a taught programme which includes tutorial support. There is an 80% attendance requirement. Assessment is carried out by means of assignments based around each unit.
If you are a first line manager you may wish to follow the National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) route to accredit the good work you already do as a competent manager. Your Certificate in First Line Management will help towards both these options. There are further natural progression routes to the highest management qualifications. We will give you advice on options that will suit you.
