This course is designed for anyone who would like to develop basic flooring skills that can easily be transferred for use in the home.
If you are a general builder/maintenance person this course will enhance your skills and give you the confidence to complete basic flooring projects.
This course covers:
- Preparation to concrete and wooden floors
- Carpet laying
- Vinyl coverings
- Laminate flooring
- Hardboard
- Underlay
- Silicone sealants and vinyl adhesives
- Gripper rods and door bars
- Cutting around pedastals, shower trays etc
To join this course no formal qualifications are required, but ideally you should be practically minded.
There are no formal assessments during this course.
