From accounting to marketing and administration to human resources the Business school offers a great deal of choice.

Full-time BTEC courses are equivalent to academic qualifications suitable for school leavers. Upon completion, these offer progression onto higher education, or the practical skills to gain entry level positions in the business world.

Association of Accounting Technician (AAT) courses are run on a full-time and part-time basis and offer students new to this field, or currently working in a financial environment, the means to study towards the industry recognised accounting qualifications.

For those looking to re-train or return to work after a break, Business Skills is a modular course area, which aims to provide students with an opportunity to acquire basic to advanced skills and recognised qualifications in business, finance and IT subjects.

National Vocational Qualifications (NVQ) are competence-based qualifications based on national standards for performance in employment. These can be studied on a part-time or full-time basis depending upon the subject studied and offer recognisable qualifications demonstrating expertise in your area of work.

For those who have been out of education for a while, the Access to Higher Education programme offers a chance to gain the required standards in order to go on to University. Staff have a wealth of experience in working with adults and can help you if you are returning to education with assistance on study skills and time management.

A popular Foundation Degree in Business and Management is offered in partnership with Bournemouth University. It provides a solid grounding in the business world, with the option to then complete a 1 year top-up at University to gain an honours degree qualification.

International Access to University for Business offers international students the opportunity to gain the specialist knowledge required in business to progress onto relevant higher education courses.
