Community Programmes

Flower Preparation

We are a team of specialists committed to providing learning opportunities to the whole community – whether as a recreational activity or for skills-based/work related training.

Our aim is to provide a variety of courses that are tailored to meet the needs of the specific learning community, where possible offering flexibility with times and location choice.

College Near You

Head Massage

Accessible provision in community centres or schools around Bournemouth & Poole offers you quality education whether you want to learn just for fun or whether you need to gain a qualification to improve your career prospects around your family or work commitments. We work closely with our partners to provide courses that reflect the needs of our community and these are continually updated our choice of community programmes. Most courses take place in the evenings between 7-9pm but there are many courses also available during the day.

Our current College Near You courses include:

  • Art & Design - Learn about interior design, handcraft gifts, handmade cards, or creative writing.
  • Beauty Therapy - Anatomy & physiology, holistic therapies, massage techniques, and make up techniques.
  • Computing Skills - We offer courses for absolute beginners, or for those wanting to develop existing skills in desktop publishing, electronic communications or word processing.
  • Floristry & Gardening -Get creative with flower arrangements for special occasions, or learn to design a water & rock garden.
  • Languages - Going on holiday? Learn a new language (beginners to intermediate) -French/Italian/Spanish.
  • Music - Guitar mixed styles -beginners or intermediate.
