The Academy for Access & Community Education specialises in:

• Community Adult Education – College Near You offers a wide range of programmes throughout our local community venues.
  
• Basic Computing – For complete beginners or the more advanced.
  
• Specialist provision for people with learning disabilities for school leavers and adults aimed at developing student's everyday independent living.
  
• Distance Learning - This increasingly popular method of studying offers students the opportunity to gain a qualification studying from home with tutor support.
  
• IT Learning Centre - The aim of the Centre is to provide opportunities for people from Bournemouth, Poole and surrounding areas to learn new skills in computing and achieve nationally recognised City and Guilds 7262 qualifications.
  
• Outreach Provision - The College Outreach Provision works in partnership with many specialist organisations in the community working with groups of people with a wide range of educational needs.
